Buying PrequalFunnel
What is PrequalFunnel?
PrequalFunnel is a pre-qualification funnel for US loan officers and mortgage brokers. You embed payment, affordability and DTI calculators on your website, borrowers run their own numbers, and a lead form inside the calculator sends you the contact with every input and result attached. Leads land in a built-in CRM, trigger an email alert and, on paid plans, can be pushed to HighLevel, Zapier, Make or any webhook URL. The aim is simple: more first conversations with borrowers who already know roughly what they can afford. See how it works.
Who is PrequalFunnel built for?
It is built for licensed mortgage professionals in the United States: independent loan officers, small and mid-size brokerages, branch managers and producing team leads who run their own websites or HighLevel funnels. The calculators use US loan programs, US federal figures and US dollars. If you run a team, the Brokerage plan covers unlimited seats so every LO can have calculators and leads routed to them. Real estate agents and other businesses can use it too, but the copy, defaults and workflows are written for mortgage originators. Browse solutions by role.
Is there a free plan, and what does it include?
Yes. Originator is free forever with no card required. It includes 5 calculators, 1 widget, up to 10,000 calculator views a month, up to 100 contacts and 1 seat. You get the lead form, the built-in CRM, email alerts and both English and Spanish. What it does not include: lead webhooks to HighLevel or other tools, custom domains, white-label branding and priority support. Those start on Producer. Compare everything on the pricing page.
What is the difference between Producer and Brokerage?
Producer is for an individual LO or small team; Brokerage removes the limits for a whole shop. Producer costs $150 a month and includes 50 calculators, 10 widgets, 5 custom domains, 5 seats, webhooks and white-label. Brokerage costs $210 a month with unlimited calculators, widgets, domains, views, contacts and seats, and adds the Qualifying Income tools for bank-statement and self-employed borrowers. Both include a 14-day free trial on monthly and yearly billing.
Is PrequalFunnel a lender or a loan origination system?
No. PrequalFunnel is software for your website. It does not lend, pull credit, issue pre-approvals or Loan Estimates, price loans or replace your LOS or point-of-sale application. The calculators produce estimates from what the borrower enters, and the lead form starts a conversation. Everything after that, from the full application to disclosures and underwriting, stays in the systems you already use. Think of it as the top of your funnel: it gets a qualified-looking borrower to raise a hand with their numbers already on the table.

Using the app
How do I get started after signing up?
Create your account at app.prequalfunnel.com, pick a calculator, adjust its look and wording, then copy the embed code onto your website. Most LOs start with a mortgage payment or affordability calculator on their homepage and a purchase or refinance page. Next, set the email address that receives lead alerts and, on a paid plan, add your HighLevel or Zapier webhook. Submit a test lead yourself to see exactly what lands. The how it works page walks through each step with screenshots.
Can I match the calculators to my brand?
Yes. You can choose from 12 calculator themes, each with light and dark mode, and 20 built-in palettes, or set your own brand colors. You can also change fonts and corner radius, add your logo, and rewrite every label, heading, button and message, including the lead form text. Some themes are reserved for paid plans. Changes apply to the live embed without touching your website code again. See calculator themes for examples.
Do the calculators work in Spanish?
Yes. Every calculator speaks English and Spanish today, and the borrower can switch languages inside the calculator. Field help, definitions and results are translated, not just the button labels. Spanish is included on every plan, including the free Originator plan. Leads from Spanish-language sessions arrive in the same CRM with the same inputs and results, so you can route them to a bilingual LO with a per-calculator webhook. Learn more about bilingual calculators.
Can my team share one account?
Yes. Originator includes 1 seat, Producer includes 5 and Brokerage includes unlimited seats. Each team member signs in with their own login, so you can see who changed what and remove access when someone leaves. Two-factor authentication is available for every user. For larger teams, branch managers usually create one calculator set per LO and use per-calculator webhooks to send each LO's leads to the right HighLevel workflow. See branch and team leaders.
What is a widget?
A widget bundles several calculators into one embed. You can show them as a floating launcher in the corner of every page, as tabs, as a row of buttons or as cards. It is useful when you want a borrower to move from a payment estimate to an affordability or DTI check without leaving the page. Originator includes 1 widget, Producer includes 10 and Brokerage is unlimited. See widgets for the layouts.

Embedding calculators
How do I add a calculator to my website?
Paste one line of code: a <div> plus one script tag. Choose how it appears: inline on the page, inline in a frame, a popup button, a floating bubble, your own button or link as the trigger, a direct link, or a classic iframe. The code is the same for every website builder, and changes you make in the app show up on your site automatically. The embed options page shows each mode side by side.
Does it work with HighLevel, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow?
Yes. Any site that lets you add a custom HTML or code block can run the embed, including HighLevel funnels and websites, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow. In HighLevel, add a Custom Code element and paste the snippet. In WordPress, use a Custom HTML block. If your builder only accepts links, use the direct link or your own button as the trigger. The HighLevel integration guide covers both the embed and the lead webhook.
Will the calculator clash with my website's design?
No. The inline mode does not use an iframe, but it is style-isolated, so your site's CSS cannot break the calculator and the calculator's styles cannot leak into your page. It still sizes itself to fit your layout and works on phones. If you prefer, the framed and iframe modes give an even harder boundary. You control colors, fonts and wording from the app so the calculator looks like part of your brand, not a bolted-on tool.
Can I serve calculators from my own domain?
Yes, on Producer and Brokerage. You can serve calculators from a subdomain you own, such as calculators.yourbrokerage.com, so borrowers never see a third-party address. Producer includes 5 custom domains and Brokerage is unlimited; Originator does not include custom domains. You point a DNS record at your domain provider, and once it is connected your embeds and direct links use your address. See custom domains.
Can I remove the "Powered by" credit?
Yes, on Producer and Brokerage. White-label removes the "Powered by" credit from every calculator, lets you brand the sign-in portal with your logo and colors, and brands the lead and alert emails. You can optionally send those emails through your own SMTP server so they come from your domain. On the free Originator plan the credit stays visible. Read more about white-label.

Leads and HighLevel
What information comes with each lead?
Each lead arrives with the borrower's name, email or phone, their consent, every input they entered and every result they saw. It also records the page URL and how they found you: UTM tags, ad click IDs (such as gclid, fbclid and msclkid), the referrer and the landing page. That means your first call can open with their numbers, not a generic script. You can see an example in reading a calculator lead.
How do leads get into HighLevel?
Through a webhook, on Producer and Brokerage. Create a workflow in HighLevel with an Inbound Webhook trigger, paste its URL into PrequalFunnel, and every new lead is posted as JSON. The payload includes the calculator, contact, inputs and results, a timestamp, attribution and flat fields such as utm_source, gclid and landing_page that are easy to map. You can set a different webhook per calculator, for example sending FHA leads to their own workflow. Step-by-step setup is on the HighLevel integration page.
What happens if my webhook fails?
You do not lose the lead. Every submission is saved as a contact in the built-in CRM before anything is forwarded, and the email alert still goes out. If HighLevel, Zapier, Make or your own endpoint is down or rejects the request, the lead is still in PrequalFunnel with all inputs and results. Fix the endpoint, then follow up from the CRM. This is one reason we recommend checking the CRM view for a few days after any workflow change. Read more about lead webhooks.
What happens when the same borrower submits twice?
PrequalFunnel recognizes returning borrowers and keeps one contact. Contacts are matched by email first, then by phone. When a known borrower runs a new calculation, it is added to their calculation history rather than creating a duplicate record. You can see how their numbers changed over time, for example a higher purchase price or a bigger down payment, which often tells you more about their readiness than the first visit did.
How quickly will I know a new lead came in?
Immediately. PrequalFunnel sends an email alert for every new lead as soon as it is saved, and on paid plans the webhook fires at the same time so your HighLevel workflow can text, call-task or assign the lead within seconds. Speed matters: borrowers comparing lenders often talk to the first LO who responds. Our guide to speed-to-lead covers what to send in the first five minutes.
Can I see which campaign or page produced a lead?
Yes. Every lead records the page it came from plus UTM tags, ad click IDs, the referrer and the landing page. The same fields are included in the webhook payload, so HighLevel can tag or route leads by campaign. This lets you compare a Google Ads landing page against your organic blog traffic or a co-marketing page. See lead attribution for what is captured and how to set up clean UTM links.

Billing and plans
How does the free trial work?
Producer and Brokerage include a 14-day free trial when you choose monthly or yearly billing. You get the full plan during the trial, including webhooks and white-label. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. If you keep the plan, billing starts when the trial ends and we send a reminder before that happens. Lifetime purchases do not include a trial, but they are covered by our 14-day refund terms. Details are in the refund policy.
Which billing periods can I choose?
Paid plans can be billed monthly, yearly or once as a lifetime purchase. Producer is $150 a month, $1,500 a year or $2,997 once. Brokerage is $210 a month, $2,100 a year or $4,997 once. Yearly billing gives you 2 months free compared with paying monthly. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. See the pricing page for the full comparison.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from Billing in the app whenever you like. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. After that, your workspace moves to the free Originator plan's limits, and embeds beyond those limits stop working. Your contacts stay in your account, and you can export them before or after you cancel. There are no cancellation fees.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, in specific cases. Yearly and lifetime purchases can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge and the account has not been used extensively in that time. Monthly plans are not refunded for partial months, but you can cancel at any time so you are not charged again. Trials can be cancelled before they end at no cost. If we ever charge you in error, we refund it. The full terms are in our refund policy.
How are payments processed?
Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card on a secure Stripe checkout, and PrequalFunnel never sees or stores your full card number; we only receive limited details such as the card brand, last four digits and billing address. Subscriptions renew automatically on the date shown in Billing until you cancel, and prices exclude any applicable taxes. Invoices and receipts are available from Billing in the app, and billing questions go to support@prequalfunnel.com.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes. You can change plans from Billing in the app, for example moving from Originator to Producer when you want webhooks and white-label, or from Producer to Brokerage when the team outgrows the seat and calculator limits. If you move to a lower plan, anything over its limits, such as extra calculators, widgets or custom domains, stops working once the change applies. Check the limits side by side on the pricing page before you switch, and ask support@prequalfunnel.com if you are unsure which plan fits.

Privacy and data
Who owns the leads my calculators capture?
You do. Leads captured by calculators on your website belong to you, and PrequalFunnel processes them on your behalf as a service provider, only to run the service for you. We do not sell your leads, share them with other loan officers or use them to market to your borrowers. You can export your contacts at any time. Your own website's privacy notice should explain to borrowers how you use their information. See our privacy policy.
Does PrequalFunnel sell personal information?
No. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with the service providers that help us run PrequalFunnel, such as hosting, email delivery and Stripe for payments, under contracts that limit how they can use it, and with destinations you configure yourself, such as your webhook URLs. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals. The details are in our privacy policy.
What cookies does prequalfunnel.com use?
Very few. Your theme, palette, accessibility, consent, language and recent-search choices are kept in your browser's local storage. A first-party cookie called pf_attr remembers which campaign or page brought you to us for 90 days and is shared only with app.prequalfunnel.com. Google Analytics 4 loads only if you click "Accept analytics" and analytics is switched on, which it is not at launch. Forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. We use no advertising cookies. See the cookie policy.
How do you protect my account and lead data?
Each workspace is isolated from every other, connections use HTTPS, sensitive credentials such as SMTP passwords are encrypted at rest, and every user can turn on two-factor authentication. Lead submissions are rate limited to 30 per visitor to block form abuse, and the webhook only goes to URLs you set. No system is perfectly secure, so if you think you have found a vulnerability, email support@prequalfunnel.com. More detail is on our security page.
How do I access, correct or delete my data?
Email privacy@prequalfunnel.com with the subject "Privacy request" or use our data request page. You can ask to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information. We verify your identity by matching your request to the details we hold, usually by replying to the email address on record. We acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, or tell you if the law allows us more time.
A borrower wants their information deleted. What should happen?
The borrower's request goes to you, the loan officer, because you control the leads your calculators capture. You can delete the contact from your CRM in the app. If the borrower contacts PrequalFunnel directly, we pass the request to the business whose website they used where we can identify it, and we help you carry it out. Remember to delete the lead from any system your webhook sent it to, such as HighLevel, as well.
FAQ · 6 questions
Compliance
Is a calculator result a pre-approval?
No. A calculator result is an estimate built from what the borrower enters. A pre-qualification is an informal estimate based on what the borrower tells you, and it is not a commitment to lend. A pre-approval involves verified documents and a credit review by the lender. PrequalFunnel helps start the pre-qual conversation; it does not pull credit or issue pre-approvals. Keep your page copy accurate on this point. See pre-qualification vs. pre-approval.
Does PrequalFunnel handle TCPA consent for me?
It helps, but you remain responsible. The lead form records the consent the borrower gives along with the time, page and source, and you can rewrite the consent wording to match your own policy. What it cannot do is decide what language you need or whether you may call or text a particular person. Have your compliance team or counsel approve your consent text before you launch. Our compliance checklist lists what to review.
What should my calculator pages show for compliance?
Show the basics on every page that carries a calculator: your NMLS ID, the states where you are licensed, your company details and an Equal Housing Opportunity statement. Keep any rate, payment or term you mention in surrounding copy consistent with advertising rules, and link your own privacy notice near the lead form. PrequalFunnel adds a disclaimer inside each calculator, but your page is still your advertising. Check specifics with your compliance team or counsel. The compliance checklist is a good starting point.
Are the government figures in the calculators current?
They are sourced and dated. Figures such as FHA mortgage insurance, the VA funding fee, USDA fees and conforming loan limits come from the agency publications and carry their effective dates. For example, the 2026 baseline conforming limit used is $832,750. These figures change, so we review them when agencies publish updates. Results remain estimates, and you should confirm current figures with the agency and your lender before quoting them to a borrower.
Can I put my calculators on a real estate agent's website?
Possibly, but talk to compliance first. Co-marketing with real estate agents can raise RESPA Section 8 issues if either side receives something of value for referrals. Any shared page, ad or tool generally needs to reflect fair market value for what each party actually provides. PrequalFunnel can technically run a calculator on any site, and per-calculator webhooks make it easy to track those leads separately, but the arrangement itself is a legal question. See RESPA Section 8.
Is prequalfunnel.com accessible?
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on prequalfunnel.com. Pages support keyboard use, visible focus, reduced motion, 200% zoom and an accessibility panel for larger text and higher contrast. Embedded calculators are a separate component that we test on its own, and third-party pages we link to are outside our control. If you meet a barrier, email support@prequalfunnel.com with the page address and we aim to reply within one business day. Read our accessibility statement.
