Who this policy covers
PrequalFunnel ("PrequalFunnel", "we", "us") runs the marketing website at prequalfunnel.com and the application at app.prequalfunnel.com. Together they provide embeddable mortgage and loan calculators, a lead form, a built-in CRM and lead webhooks for loan officers and mortgage brokers in the United States. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have.
Two different relationships
- Visitors and customers. When you browse prequalfunnel.com, contact us, start a trial or hold an account, we decide how your information is used, and this policy applies.
- Borrowers who use a customer's calculator. When someone fills in a PrequalFunnel calculator on a loan officer's or broker's website, that business decides how the information is used. We process it on their behalf as a service provider. Borrowers should read the privacy notice of the website where they used the calculator. If a borrower contacts us, we pass the request to that business where we can identify it.
Information we collect
What you give us
- Account details: name, email address, company, and a password we store only as a hash.
- Billing details: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive limited information such as card brand, the last four digits, expiry and billing address. We never receive or store full card numbers.
- Messages: what you write when you use the contact form, email support, book a walkthrough or subscribe to updates.
What is collected automatically
- Technical data in server logs, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and referring page, used for security and reliability.
- Campaign attribution: a first-party cookie,
pf_attr, records the UTM tags, ad click IDs, referring site and landing page that brought you to prequalfunnel.com. It lasts 90 days and is shared only with app.prequalfunnel.com, where it is stored with your account, purchase or form submission. - Preferences kept in your browser, such as theme, palette, accessibility settings, cookie choice, language and recent searches. These stay on your device.
- Spam protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to tell people from bots and may set its own functional data for that purpose.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 runs only if you click Accept analytics and only if analytics has been configured for the site. It is not configured at launch. See our cookie policy.
What our customers store in their workspaces
- Leads captured by calculators: name, email or phone, consent, every input entered and every result shown, the page URL and traffic source.
- CRM records such as notes, statuses and calculation history that customers create.
Embedded calculators load from the app domain and do not set advertising cookies.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the service, including sign-in and two-factor authentication.
- To run trials, process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To deliver lead alerts and the webhooks you configure.
- To answer questions and provide support.
- To send service notices and, if you opt in, product updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To understand which pages and campaigns lead to sign-ups, using attribution data and, only with your consent, analytics.
- To prevent spam, fraud and abuse, comply with the law and enforce our terms of service.
We do not use lead information from customer workspaces to market to borrowers, and we do not pass one customer's leads to another.
How we share information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate PrequalFunnel, such as hosting, email delivery, spam protection (Cloudflare) and payments (Stripe), under contracts that limit their use of it.
- Destinations you choose, such as HighLevel, Zapier, Make or any webhook URL you set up to receive leads.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the service.
- A successor, if PrequalFunnel is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.
How long we keep information
Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax, legal and dispute purposes. Workspace data, including leads, is kept while your account is open and deleted or anonymized after the account is closed, except where the law requires us to keep it. You can export your contacts at any time before closing your account. The pf_attr cookie expires after 90 days.
Security
Workspaces are isolated from each other, sign-in supports two-factor authentication, connections use HTTPS and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. Lead submissions are rate limited to reduce abuse. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you have found a vulnerability, email support@prequalfunnel.com.
Your US privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, including California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- know and access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- receive a portable copy;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (we do neither);
- limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it in ways that require this); and
- exercise these rights without discrimination.
Make a request on our data request page. You may use an authorized agent. If we decline a request, you can appeal. California residents can learn more from the California Privacy Protection Agency.
Children
PrequalFunnel is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When our practices change we will update this page and the date at the top. We will tell account holders about material changes in the app or by email before they take effect.
