Every PrequalFunnel calculator speaks English and Spanish today. The borrower can switch languages inside the calculator, field help and definitions exist in both, and you can set the default language per embed. The lead still lands in your CRM with every input and result, so your follow-up starts from the same numbers.

Because a large share of US homebuyers would rather run the numbers in Spanish, and a calculator they can read is a calculator they finish. A borrower who understands what "relación deuda-ingreso (DTI)" means on screen is far more likely to submit the lead form than one guessing at an English label.
Most LO websites handle this with a separate Spanish page, a translation plugin that mangles financial terms, or nothing at all. PrequalFunnel builds the language into the calculator itself. The same embed serves both audiences, the borrower picks the language, and the math, charts and amortization tables behave identically.
For you, that means one setup, one set of calculators to brand, and one lead flow into your built-in CRM or HighLevel. If you already market to Spanish-speaking families, see how other LOs structure that work on the bilingual loan officers page.
Everything the borrower reads inside the calculator is available in both languages; your own custom copy is the one part you supply.
Every input, from purchase price to monthly debts, has a Spanish label and a Spanish tooltip that explains what to enter and why it matters.
Payment breakdowns, PITI components, charts and schedules render with Spanish headings. Numbers stay in US dollar format so they match your loan documents.
Terms such as PITI, DTI, PMI and APR carry a plain-Spanish definition, so the borrower learns the vocabulary you will use on the first call.
The estimate disclaimer appears in the borrower's language, which keeps the "this is an estimate, not an offer" message clear for both audiences.
The Get a Quote or Contact form, including the consent line, follows the selected language so the borrower knows what they are agreeing to.
A plugin translates text after the fact; PrequalFunnel ships each calculator with language-specific copy built in.
If you market in Spanish, your surrounding page should carry your NMLS ID, Equal Housing Opportunity statement, state licensing details and consent language in Spanish as well. PrequalFunnel translates the calculator, not your legal copy. Check with your compliance team or counsel on how your state and your company handle Spanish-language advertising and TCPA consent.
Set the default per embed with the data-lang attribute; the borrower can still switch at any time.
| Where the calculator lives | Suggested default | Why |
|---|---|---|
| English home page or blog | data-lang="en" | Most visitors arrive in English; Spanish speakers switch with one tap. |
| Spanish landing page or Spanish ads | data-lang="es" | The calculator matches the ad and the page, so nothing feels like a bait-and-switch. |
| HighLevel funnel for a bilingual campaign | One funnel step per language | Lets you track which language converts and route leads to the right workflow. |
| Floating bubble across the whole site | Match the page language | Keeps the experience consistent as the visitor browses. |
| Direct link in a text or email | The language you wrote the message in | The borrower opens it already in their language. |

All of them. Every calculator on this site speaks English and Spanish today, including payment, affordability, DTI, FHA, VA and refinance tools. Field help, results, definitions and the disclaimer are available in both languages, so you never have to check which ones are covered before embedding.
No. Bilingual calculators are included on every plan, including the free Originator plan. Paid plans add things like webhooks, white-label branding and custom domains, but language support is not gated. You can embed a Spanish-default calculator the same day you sign up.
Yes. The visitor can switch between English and Spanish inside the calculator. Their inputs are kept as they switch, so a borrower who starts in English and wants to check a term in Spanish does not have to start over.
Add data-lang="es" to the embed code. The calculator then loads in Spanish on that page, while the visitor can still switch to English. Use it on Spanish landing pages and any page your Spanish-language ads point to.
The lead arrives with every input and result the borrower saw, plus the page URL and traffic source. If you run Spanish content on its own pages or campaigns, the page URL and UTM tags make it clear where the lead came from, which is how most LOs route Spanish-speaking borrowers to a bilingual teammate.
They are written in neutral US-Hispanic Spanish, using phrases people search for, such as "calculadora de hipoteca" and "relación deuda-ingreso". Acronyms like FHA, VA, PITI and DTI stay as borrowers see them on loan documents, with a short explanation the first time they appear.
PrequalFunnel lets you write custom copy for every label, heading and button. The built-in text is bilingual; custom copy you add is your own wording, so review it for both audiences or keep Spanish campaigns on a separately configured embed.
No. The formulas, rounding and dollar formatting are identical in both languages. A borrower who enters the same numbers in English and in Spanish gets the same payment, the same DTI and the same amortization schedule.
Yes. Language is part of the calculator, not the host page, so it works wherever the embed works: HighLevel funnels and websites, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or plain HTML. See the embed options page for the snippet and modes.
