Questions loan officers ask

Do PrequalFunnel calculators work in Spanish?

Yes. Every calculator on this site speaks Spanish today, along with English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Arabic, and the visitor can switch between them. Field labels, results, definitions and field help exist in every language, so a Spanish-speaking borrower can run the numbers without leaving the calculator.

Should I build a separate Spanish website or add Spanish pages to my existing one?

For most LOs, a Spanish section on the same domain (for example, /es/) is easier to maintain and keeps your reputation signals in one place. A separate site makes sense mainly if you run a separate Spanish-language brand or team.

How many calculators should a loan officer website have?

As many as you have pages with a clear borrower question, and rarely more than one primary calculator per page. A typical LO site needs an affordability or pre-qualification tool, one calculator per loan program you actively originate, a refinance calculator and a DTI calculator. Extra tools are fine in a tabbed widget, but each page should lead with one.

Should the calculator go above or below the fold?

On pages where the calculator is the main reason to visit, such as a dedicated calculator page or an ad landing page, put it above the fold or directly under a short headline. On content pages such as blog posts and program explainers, place it after the section that raises the question it answers.
